I believe there is no such thing as the “right” way to speak, and that trying to force speakers into a cookie-cutter model has stunted the development of so many speakers and deprived the world of their voice.

Great speaking is about finding your unique style, and doubling down on the skills that help you stand out using that style.

Secondly, too many speakers look and sound like me. When we have diversity of voices, it gives our audiences more sources of wisdom that they can learn from. That’s why I’m passionate about working with speakers who are women, people of colour, LGBT+, Neurodivergent, Disabled or are the representative of any other minority group.
